Background: Recorded 70 tackles with four sacks, three forced fumbles, eight tackles for loss and an interception earning first-team all-county top 22 honors and first-team all-state from KSHAA and Sports In Kansas as well as aa top 100 senior selection and a Kansas Shrine Bowl selection … as a junior he had 53 tackles with two sacks, one forced fumble and 12 tackles for loss with first-team honorable mention all-state honors and first-team all-league honors … as a sophomore he had 55 tackles with four sacks, two forced fumbles and 12 tackles for loss blocking a field goal en route to second-team all-league honors and honorable mention all-state honors.
