Cody Clemmensen joined the Ichabod coaching staff in the spring of 2026 after spending the 2025 season at Henderson State as the graduate assistant coach for tight ends in 2025.Â
Starting his coaching career as a middle school football coach in Virginia, Clemmensen joined Division I James Madison as a videographer in August 2020. The following year, he served as a student coaching assistant for the Dukes’ offense. After graduation, Clemmensen spent three seasons as an assistant high school football coach. In 2024, he also took on the role of tight ends coach at Division II McKendree in Lebanon, Illinois.
Clemmensen earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management from James Madison University in December 2021.
