Corey Schultz is in his second season as a graduate assistant for the Ichabods after spending the 2010 season as a graduate assistant at Emporia State. Schultz will work with the tight ends.
As a player at Ottawa, Schultz was a two-time all-conference pick and earned AFCA All-American honors at wide receiver. He collected 1,535 receiving yards averaging 139.5 yards per game, which was second in all NAIA Division I. Prior to joining the Braves, Schultz was an all-conference and All-American selection at Dodge City Community College. Schultz spent the 2007-08 season as a member of the Kansas State football program.
Schultz played his prep ball at Hayden High School in Topeka winning a state championship in 2004 with a perfect 14-0 record. He graduated from Ottawa in May, 2010 with a degree in physical education.
