Washburn University Athletics

Frank Crosson is in his 21st  season as a volunteer assistant at Washburn. He will work with the running backs after previously helping with offensive line, linebackers, tight ends, defensive backs and free safeties on the Washburn staff.

Crosson has more than 30 years of coaching experience after graduating from Ottawa in 1977. He received his master’s degree from Pittsburg State in 1984.  He has had coaching stints at the collegiate level at Ottawa, Missouri Southern, Cameron and Emporia State and the prep level at North Garland (Texas), Shawnee Heights, Topeka and Hayden High Schools. Crosson and his wife for 29 years, Karin, have two children - Matt, a Notre Dame graduate and Caroline, who graduated from Benedictine.
