Joe Wallace is in his first season as an Ichabod graduate assistant. He will work with the offensive lineman this season.
He is a 2001 graduate of Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, where he was a two-time letterwinner playing the nose guard position. He led the defensive line in tackles as a junior while receiving the coaches award and elected captain as a senior.
Most recently, he taught business education and was an assistant football coach leading the offensive line at his alma mater, Regina High School in Iowa, City, Iowa. His 2005 team won the class 1A state championship - the first in school history.
He is the son of Mike and Mary Ann Wallace. He is working on his graduate degree from Washburn in educational administration.
