Josh Dirks is in his second season as a volunteer assistant for the Ichabods. He has four years experience as a high school head coach and seven years total high school coaching experience earning two coach of the year honors. As a player at Pittsburg State he was a starter at offensive guard winning two conference championships. He also competed in track and field earning two all-MIAA honors as a thrower. He graduated from Pittsburg State and received his masters in education administration from Emporia State and teaches business and math at Hope Street Academy in Topeka. He is married to Tiffany Dirks, who is a lecturer in the Washburn Kinesiology department and they have three children – Ella, Belle and Beau.
