Kamble Haverkamp joined the Ichabod coaching staff after graduation in Dec. of 2025 after a four-year career as a member of the Ichabods.
Haverkamp played in 28 games recording 109 tackles with four interceptions and four fumble recovers earning all-MIAA first team honors as a senior as well as D2CCA All-Region Second Team accolades. Academically he was a four--time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was a second team Academic All-America® selection by the College Sports Communicators.
As a senior he started all 11 games at safety making 76 tackles with 56 of them being solo stops adding 11.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks.
His junior season he played in 10 games making 12 total tackles with six solo stops and was a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore he appeared in 10 games making 11 tackles with nine solo stops and his freshman season he played in eight games making 10 tackles with eight solo stops.
Prior to joining the Ichabods, he transfer from Kansas State where he redshirted. His senior season in high school he was an all-state selection at quarterback and was named the Class 1A Player of the Year earning All-Class Top 11 honors while earning first team all-league honors at quarterback, defensive back and punt returner and all-state honors at quarterback and defensive back. He was also an all-state and all-league selection in basketball his senior season earning all-state honors at defensive back as a junior along with all-league honors at quarterback, defensive back and punt returner and all-state honorable mention honors in basketball. As a sophomore he was an all-league selection at wide receiver and defensive back as well as all-state honorable mention in basketball and was all-state in the 800m dash, 4x400m relay and 4x100m relay both his sophomore and freshman seasons. Also a 2020 participant in the Kansas Shrine Bowl.
He graduated from Washburn in December 2026 with his degree in kinesiology.
