Scott Aligo is in his first season as a graduate assistant for the Ichabods and he will work with the Washburn defensive line. Prior to coming to Washburn, Aligo spent five years in the Kansas City Chiefs’ front office working as a scouting assistant helping with team’s preparation for the NFL draft and for free agency. The Tonganoxie, Kan., native graduated from Kansas in 2005 with a degree in sports and fitness management. During the 2002 and 2003 seasons he helped with on-campus recruiting assisting with game day visits. During the 2003 and 2004 seasons, he served as a student manager for the Jayhawks assisting in all equipment needs while also assisting the defensive staff with the defensive game plan along with calling out personnel and helping with in game adjustments. He will start his master’s program work this fall at Washburn.
