At Washburn: Has played in 26 games recording 48 tackles with nine tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks making 12 starts and returns to a starting defensive end position.
In 2011: Started the final 12 games of the season playing in all 13 recording 48 tackles with 20 solo stops and eight tackles for loss for 40 yards and 3.5 sacks for 13 yards … recorded a career-high six tackles against Missouri Western adding 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack … had a fumble recovery against Central Oklahoma and two pass break ups … a two-time winner of the Ichabods’ defensive lineman of the week after the Emporia State and after the Pittsburg State games … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2010: Missed the season with an injury receiving a medical redshirt.
In 2009: Appeared in 10 games recording 10 tackles with five solo and five assisted tackles … also had a tackle for loss for two yards against Emporia State on Nov. 7 … had a career-high four solo tackles against the Hornets.
In 2008: Played in three games recording two tackles both coming against Missouri State.
In 2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
Background: Named to honorable mention all-state teams of the Topeka Capital-Journal, Wichita Eagle and the Kansas Coaches Association … named honorable mention all-conference … an honorable mention all-league pick in basketball … named to the 2007 Kansas Shrine Bowl.
