At Washburn: Will compete for time on special tams and in the defensive secondary.

In 2013: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Background: Was a first team all-conference selection selection at Mesabi Range after recording 47 tackles as a sophomore with three interceptions and 20 pass break ups. 

Personal: Son of Deborah Butler … majoring in public relations.
