At Washburn: Had played in 20 games recording 29 total tackles with 15 solo stops, an interception and two fumble recoveries and will compete for time on special teams and in the defensive secondary.
In 2013: Appeared in nine games recording 15 tackles with seven solo stops … recorded first career interception against Fort Hays State returning it 32 yards … also had a fumble recovery in season opener at Nebraska-Kearney.
In 2012: Played in all 11 games recording 14 tackles with eight solo stops and one fumble recover against Fort Hays State … recorded a career-high four tackles against Southwest Baptist on 09/29 with two solo stops.
In 2011: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
Background: Was a first team all-state, all-league, all-metro as a senior after recording 79 tackles and seven interceptions …had 13 tackles in the state championship game … as a junior he had 54 tackles with three interceptions earning honorable mention all-league honors.
Personal: Son of Darrien Rimmer and Yolonda Davis … majoring in Kinesiology.
