Background: A 2024 Kansas Shrine Bowl selection … a two-time all-state quarterback selection and a defensive back all-state selection and was a finalist for the Frank Fontana Simone Award and was a 4A Sports In Kansas Offensive Player of the Year finalist and was a Tri-County Offensive Player of the Year … earning first-team all-league honors at quarterback and defensive back earning honorable mention all-state setting the school record for passing yards as a senior … a second-team all-state selection in baseball as a junior earning first-team all-league honors at quarterback and an honorable mention all-state quarterback and was the Tri-County Offensive Player of the Year … an honorable mention all-league selection as a sophomore at quarterback.

Personal: Son of Aaron and Torrie Battle … a brother, Colston … a sister, Tatum … his father played football at Washburn and his mother played softball for Washburn.
