In 2019: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named Ichabod offensive work team player of the week prior to the Central Oklahoma game.
Background: A first team all-conference, all-district and all-state selection at wide receiver after collecting a school single-season record of 1,191 receiving yards with 15 touchdowns and 71 receptions as a senior and was a finalist for the Otis Taylor Award… as a junior he was a second team all-league selection at wide receiver and at cornerback and was a second team all-district pick at wide receiver finished career with school records of 170 receptions and 2,487 receiving yards … also participated in track and basketball.
Personal: Son of James and Carmen Gilbert … two sisters, Rachel and Savannah … brother Austin … an integrated studies major.
