Background: As a freshman he picked up a varsity letter in wrestling … as a sophomore he was named to the all-district team in football as his team fell in the state semifinals … as a junior he was a first team all-district selection earning honorable mention all-state … also placed fourth in the state wrestling tournament … as a senior he picked up first team allstate, all-district and was named to the Heartland Super Team … will play in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl all-star game … also participated in track.
Personal: Son of Bret and the late Judy Schwarz … father Bret and uncle father Bret and uncle Bob both played football at Washburn.
