At Washburn: A two-sport athlete also competing in track appearing in 17 events … part of 4x100m relay school record squad … has the 10th-fastest 200m individual time in program history during the outdoor season … has appeared in nine football games … a five-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll between football and track.

In 2024-25 (football): Sat out the season as a redshirt … (track) competed in seven events during the season with three indoor meets… finished a season-best seventh in the 300m at the Washburn Rust Buster in a time of 35.81 - the fourth-fastest individual time in program history … part of 4x100m relay team that finished fourth at the MIAA Championships in a time of 40.83 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2023-24 (football): Appeared in eight games making 16 tackles with 12 solo stops … had a season-high four tackles at Pittsburg State in the season opener … also had one kickoff return for 36 yards … (track): Competed in 10 events recording a personal best in the 60m with a time of 7.15 at the Washburn Open … had a 100m season-best time of 10.95 at the ESU Midwest Classic and a 200m time of 22.25 at the SBU Invitational … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: A transfer from Snow College where he played in all 10 games as a sophomore recording 18 tackles with four pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery … he redshirted the 2021 season … a three-sport standout at American Leadership Academy Gilbert North breaking the school record in the long jump as a senior and was named Mr. Versatile and was part of 4x100m state championship relay team … he junior season he was a second-team defensive back selection and was a first-team punt and kickoff returner as a sophomore. 

Personal: Son of Emeka and Rachelle Ogbonna and Stephanie and Pervis Lloyd … two brothers, Jacoby and Asayah … two sisters, Nayah and Yanah … his father played football at Oklahoma State … majoring in business.
