Background: As a senior he had 326 yards on 20 catches with four touchdowns adding 63 tackles with 42 solo stops with 22 assists with two sacks and seven tackles for loss earning first team all-league tight end, all-metro, all-district, all-state and all-state academic honors … as a junior he was a first-team all-league honors at tight end recording two touchdowns on nine catches and 177 yards … also had 23 tackles solo tackles, three sacks and connected on 24 extra point attempts … as a sophomore he had 23 extra points with seven tackles and 2,232 kickoff yards on 63 attempts.
