At Washburn: A three-year member of the Ichabods … also a member of the track and field team, where he has recorded the second-fastest time in the 60m with a 6.87 mark, the fourth-fastest individual time in the outdoor 200m at 21.29 and the second-fastst time in the 100m at 10.39 … a six-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll between football and track and field. 

In 2024-25: (football): Appeared in four games … (track) competed in three events during the season and was part of the seventh-place 4x100m relay team at the ESU Relays … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2023-24: (football): Missed the season with an injury … (track): sat out the season as a redshirt …  a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2022-23: (football): Sat out the season as a redshirt … (track) competed in 14 events setting the school record in the 100m in a time of 10.39 and has the second-best time in the 60m in a time of 6.87 … finished fourth in the MIAA Outdoor Championships in a time of 10.43 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: Will also participate in track and field at Washburn … a first-team all-league defense as a senior and was a second-team all-league selection as a junior at outside linebacker and also earned all-city honors in track.

Personal: Son of John January … majoring in finance.
