At Washburn: Joined the Ichabods for spring practice after transferring from Coffeyville Community College … will compete for time at tight end and on special teams.
Background: Had two catches as a freshman at Coffeyville and then sat out his sophomore season with a medical redshirt … as a senior he had 11 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns at Bishop Miege High School and recorded 65 tackles with three for loss and three sacks earning honorable mention all-league honors.
Personal: Son of John and Kim Kostelac … majoring in exercise physiology … his dad played baseball at Missouri Western.
