In 2011: Started all 13 games and recorded 46 tackles with 20 solo stops … also had 9.0 tackles for loss for 43 yards and three sacks for 15 yards … had season-high seven tackles in games against Central Missouri and Pittsburg State … also broke up three passes … was an honorable mention all-MIAA selection … named Ichabods defensive lineman of the game after the Lincoln contest.

In 2010: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Background: A transfer from North Iowa Area College where he earned first team all-conference and first team all-region honors as a sophomore where he played in seven games recording 22 total tackles with seven tackles for loss for 22 yards adding a sack … at Forest Hill High School he was an all-area and first team all-league selection.
