At Washburn: Returns for senior season set to handle placekicking duties.

In 2011: Appeared in all 13 games and connected on 57 of 62 point after attempts which was the ninth-most PAT’s made in a single season at Washburn … also hit 12 of 16 field goals including a season-long 41-yard attempt twice against Pittsburg State and at Emporia State … his 62 extra point attempts was a school single-season record … averaged 54.8 yards per kickoff with eight touchbacks on 87 attempts … finished second on the team scoring 93 points … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: Named first team all-Kansas Jayhawk Conference and first team all-region at placekicker after scoring 70 points hitting 55 of 57 extra point attempts and 5 of 10 field goal attempts with a season-long 41-yard make …  also averaged 59.9 yards per kickoff with 10 touchbacks … at Abilene High School, he earned honorable mention all-state honors at kicker while hitting 24 of 26 PAT’s as a senior including a 54-yard field goal … a Kansas Scholar who also played tennis finishing ninth in doubles as a senior and 10th as a junior.
