At Washburn: Will compete for time on the offensive line entering redshirt freshman season.
In 2015: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named work team offensive player of the week after the Nebraska-Kearney game … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Background: Named first team all-state class 3A on the offensive and defensive lines and was a first team all-league pick at both guard and defensive tackle … earned first team all-state honors on the offensive line as a junior and first team all-league honors on both the offensive and defensive lines … an all-state pick on the offensive line as a sophomore earning second team all-league honors on the offensive line … also participated in track.
Personal: Son of Matt and Barb Ferron … anticipated major is sports medicine.
