At Washburn: Will compete for time in the defensive backfield and on special team units.

In 2009: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named the Ichabods’ work team defensive player of the week two times prior to the Missouri Southern and Northwest Missouri games … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: A three-year football letterman … part of 2008 Missouri 6A state championship team … as a senior, he had 90 tackles, one interceptions, two forced fumbles and two point after touchdown blocks … named second team all-Kansas City metro as well as 6A first team all state and all district teams, team captain as a senior … played in the Mo-Kan all-star game … a four-year track letterman … a three-year sectional qualifier in the 110m hurdles … graduated with honors.
