At Washburn: A member of the Ichabods for two seasons, 2015-2016 … appeared in 22 games recording 56 tackles, 10 pass deflections and 3 interceptions … spent the 2017-18 seasons as a student assistant coach. 

In 2016: Appeared in all 12 games recording 46 tackles with 29 solo stops adding a tackle for loss and three interceptions with six pass break ups.

In 2015: Played in 10 games as a junior recording 10 tackles with a pass break up … had three tackles against Central Missouri and Central Oklahoma. 

Background: A transfer from Butler County … appeared in three games recording three tackles as a sophomore and three games as a freshman … at Piper High School he was a first team all-state, all-league pick as a senior and played in the Kansas Shrine Bowl … as a junior he was a first team all-league pick.

Personal: Son of Charles and Joy Cofield … majoring in sports management.
