At Washburn: A five-year member of the Ichabods making 12 starts appearing in 18 games… a five-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll … has completed 271 passes for 3,127 yards and 32 touchdowns, which is tied for 10th on the Ichabod program chart.

In 2023: Played in two games before missing the remainder of the season with an injury … completed 34 of 52 passes for 248 yards and a touchdown … also rushed for a touchdown … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2022: An honorable mention all-MIAA selection after passing for 2,354 yards completing 195 of 312 passes with 25 touchdowns passing for a school-record tying six touchdowns against Central Missouri … passed for at least 300 yards four times in nine appearances … broke the Ichabod record for single-game completions with 35 against Emporia State in 48 attempts passing for a career-high 334 yards adding four touchdowns … his 195 completions are third on the single season chart and his 62.5 completion percentage is third as well … was responsible for 29 touchdowns during the season which is fourth on the program chart … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2021: Started in one game and appeared in seven ... threw for 525 yards going 42 of 81 passing and six touchdowns ... passed for two touchdowns completing 15 of 29 passes in a  17-16 over No. 2-ranked Northwest Missouri entering the game on the fourth play of the afternoon … was 17 for 31 for 193 yards and a touchdown in his lone start of the season ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2020: Season canceled because of COVID-19 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2019: Sat out the season as a redshirt … a two-time Ichabod offensive work team player of the week … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: A third team all-state, first team all-district and first-team all-league quarterback after passing for 2,414 yards completing 176 of 292 passes with 28 touchdowns as a senior … also named the KMZU 4A Offensive Player of the Year as a senior as well as a finalist for the Fontana Award for the small class player of the year in the metro area … passed for 1,317 yards with 20 touchdowns as a junior earning second team all-league honors … finished career with 4,745 passing yards with 48 touchdowns going 29-7 as a three-year starter for the Warriors.

Personal: Son of Bryan and Amy Simoncic … a brother Cody who is a freshman on the football team at Northwest Missouri … his dad was an NAIA All-American linebacker at Pittsburg State … majoring in business.
