At Washburn: A six-year member of the Ichabods having played in 49 games making 38 starts recording 145 tackles with 28.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks ... fourth in Washburn history with 88 yards from sacks … a two-time selection to the all-MIAA team. 

In 2022: Earned second-team all-MIAA honors after recording 28 tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss for 24 yards and a sack starting all 11 games … had a season-high six tackles in two different games and had two tackles for loss against Nebraska-Kearney for 15 yards … a four-time Ichabod defensive power player of the week selection and a four-time big hit winner.

In 2021: Started all 12 games on the defensive line recording 38 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and six sacks ... a five-time Ichabod big hit player of the week and three-time defensive power player of the week ... earned all-MIAA second team honors on the defensive line.

In 2020: Season canceled because of COVID-19.

In 2019: Appeared in three games making 12 tackles before season cut short with an injury receiving a medical redshirt … had a career-high eight tackles against Fort Hays State … a two-time Ichabod defensive lineman of the week.

In 2018: Started all 11 games on the defensive line recording 43 tackles which was fourth on the team adding six tackles for loss for 28 yards adding 3.5 sacks for 23 yards and a forced fumble … had a career-high seven tackles at Pittsburg State … a three-time Ichabod defensive power player of the week selection and a three-time recipient of the Ichabod big hit award.

In 2017: Appeared in 11 games as a true freshman recording 25 tackles with nine solo stops adding 1.5 sacks for seven yards … received Ichabod big hit award after the Northwest Missouri game … had a season-high six tackles with four solo stops against Angelo State in the Heart of Texas Bowl.

Background: As a senior he was an all-league pick at offensive line and at linebacker earning Topeka Capital Journal all-class top 11 and was the named the Sports In Kansas 3A Defensive Player of the Year, named to the Varsity Kansas all-state, USA Today and KPreps all-state teams as well as first team all-area by the Hutchinson News, and all-state by the Kansas Football Coaches Association … as a junior he was an all-league pick on the defensive line and took fifth at the Kansas State wrestling tournament … earned all-league honors on the offensive line as a sophomore.

Personal: Son of Kelly and Laura Urban … majoring in kinesiology.
