In 2012: Played in all 11 games making eight starts and set a Washburn singles-season record with 38 kickoff returns and 786 kickoff return yards breaking a 22-year old record … his 20.7 yards per kickoff return was third in the MIAA … led the team with 1,056 all purpose yards … recorded 14 receptions for 240 yards averaging a team-high 17.1 yards per reception adding four touchdowns … also added four tackles on special teams … had a career-high 81 receiving yards against Truman on 10/13 on two receptions including a career-long 69 yard catch against the Bulldogs … recorded a career-high four catches against Emporia State on 11/10 … a four-time winner of the Ichabod special teams player of the week … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2011: Appeared in all 13 games and had five receptions for 133 yards … had 24 kickoff returns for 612 yards averaging 25.5 yards per return … his 612 return yards was second on the Washburn single-season chart … his kickoff return average was fifth in the MIAA rankings and 35th in the nation … had two catches and 79 receiving yards including a 63-yard catch against Sioux Falls in the season opener … also added 11 tackles on special teams … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2010: Appeared in eight games recording two punt returns for 15 yards against Colorado Mines and two kickoff returns for 14 yards against Northwest Missouri … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll … named the Ichabods work team offensive player of the week prior to the Nebraska Omaha and Colorado Mines games.

Background: A transfer from the Air Force Prep Academy … a three-year football starter and a four-year letterwinner in track … as a junior he was second team all-league kick returner and honorable mention defensive back … qualified for state in three events at state track meet  … as a senior he was a second team all-league pick at wide receiver and first team all-league as a kickoff returner and an honorable mention defensive back … named first team all-state by the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association … qualified in four events at state track meet … named MVP award winner both junior and senior year … one of team captains senior year in track and football … an honor roll student.
