Cole Gormley joined the Washburn Sports Medicine staff in June of 2024 after spending one year at Great Bend High School as the Head Athletic Trainer and sports medicine teacher. He will be working primarily with Washburn’s football and baseball teams.

Cole completed his Master of Science in Athletic Training from Kansas State University in 2023. Throughout his graduate program, he was an Athletic Training Student for Kansas State Football and various high schools around the Manhattan area. He was also a co-founder and officer of the Kansas State University Student Athletic Training Association.

He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.
