Kalen Davis joined Washburn in July of 2020 after working at Drury University in Springfield, Mo., for two years serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for men’s wrestling, coed cheer-stunt and men’s and women’s cross country.

He has also served as an athletic trainer student mentor, a volunteer in the Springfield Mighty Mites football league as well as the Special Olympics and with the Springfield Bass Pro 10K marathon.

Davis has both his bachelor’s degree in athletic training and his master’s of science in athletic training from Missouri State University and is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas.
