At Washburn: Making the move from guard to tackle on the offensive line entering fall camp … has played in 35 games making 28 consecutive starts.
In 2011: Started all 13 games at right tackle earning honorable mention all-MIAA honors helping the Ichabods to the No. 4-ranked passing offense in the nation, the No. 5-ranked total offensive team in the nation and the 11th-ranked scoring offense … a three-time winner of the Ichabods’ offensive lineman of the week … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2010: Started all 12 games at left guard helping the Ichabod offensive line finish ninth in the nation allowing one sack a game while finishing 10th in the nation in total offense and 17th in passing offense … named to the MIAA Academic Honor.
In 2009: Made three starts at right guard playing in 10 games helping the Ichabod offensive line hold opponents to 11 sacks on the season … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2008: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
Background: A first team all-league selection on both offensive and defensive lines as a senior … an honorable mention all-metro pick as a senior … named first team all-league, first team all-district and third team all-state as a junior … won state championship in heavyweight division as a senior in wrestling.
Personal: Son of Sam and Cindy Dieckhaus … majoring in Kinesiology.
