At Washburn: Played in 40 games making 38 starts recording 2,310 rushing yards on 506 carries and with a 57.8 rushing yards per game average rushing for 19 touchdowns ... also accumulated 928 receiving yards on 96 receptions with six touchdowns ... has scored 25 total touchdowns … finished career ranked sixth in rushing yards at Washburn and eighth in career rushing yards per game … a two-time all-MIAA selection and a five-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll in four seasons as an Ichabod.
In 2023: Rushed for a team-high 439 yards playing in seven games making six starts rushing for two touchdowns … also had 16 catches for 111 yards … rushed for a season-high 123 yards on 27 carries against Missouri Southern and had 121 yards on 11 carries for the following week against Lincoln … missed the final four games of the seaon with an injury … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2022: Earned honorable mention all-MIAA after leading the Ichabods with 632 rushing yards on 143 carries and six touchdowns while picking up 27 receptions for 250 yards and three touchdowns recording 882 all-purpose yards finishing seventh in the MIAA in rushing yards starting 10 games … recorded a two-point conversion against Northeastern State … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2021: Started 12 games recording 138 carries for 695 yards and four touchdowns ... also caught 27 passes for 284 receiving yards and a touchdown ... had a career game-high 123 yards on 11 carries in the win over Missouri Southern ... received all-MIAA honorable mention honors … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2020: Season canceled because of COVID-19 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2019: Made nine starts appearing in 11 games as a true freshman rushing for 544 yards and seven touchdowns on 121 attempts … had 26 receptions for 283 yards and two scores … had a season-high 98 yards on 19 carries and two scores in the opener against Lincoln … a three-time Ichabod offensive skill position player of the week … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Background: A first team class 5A all-state selection at running back as a senior en route to offensive player of the year honors in the conference rushing for 1,719 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior averaging 8.1 yards per carry … also had 347 receiving yards and three touchdowns … led the Mustangs in rushing yards as a junior with 981 yards and seven touchdowns and had three receiving touchdowns earning second team all-league honors … an honorable mention all-state pick as a sophomore at running back and as a kicker as well … finished prep career with 3,819 yards and 36 touchdowns … also wrestles … played in the Kansas Shrine Bowl game.
Personal: Son of Shannon and Lisa Peters … brother Dalton and sister Brooke … his dad wrestled at Nebraska-Kearney and his mom played basketball at Crowley Community College … majoring in finance.
