In 2013: Appeared in five games with 12 carries for 53 yards … had 18 yards rushing on four attempts at Northeastern State … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2012: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named the Ichabod offensive work team player of the week prior to the Lincoln game … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Background: As a senior he was named all-league and all-state after rushing for 1,311 yards and 183 carries scoring 20 touchdowns … added 250 receiving yards … a two-time St. Louis area Prepzone Player of the Year … named one of the top 33 running backs in the Greater St. Louis area as a senior.
Personal: Son of Gary Hawkins and Sonya Burnett … majoring in English.
