At Washburn: Returns to his right guard position after starting all 11 games last season after transferring from Coffeyville Community College.
In 2006: Started all 11 games at right guard … was twice named the Ichabods’ offensive lineman of the week following the Pittsburg State and Missouri Southern games … received Ichabod Big Hit of the week award following the Pittsburg State game.
Background: Named a second team NJCAA All-American … was voted first-team all-Jayhawk Conference honors as a senior and second team as a junior … lead blocker on one of the conference’s top offenses that averaged over 41 points and 290 rushing yards per game.
Personal: Born Oct. 16, 1985 … son of Jerry and Renae Stanley … majoring in law enforcement.
