Washburn University Athletics

At Washburn: A two-year member of the Ichabods … a two-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2024: Practiced but did not appear in any games … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2023: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named Ichabod work team offensive player of the week for practice prior to the Pittsburg State game …  a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: An all-league and all-state honorable mention selection in football as a senior and earned all-league honorable mention and all-state honors as a junior also picking up all-league and all-state honorable mention honors in basketball … a member of the National Honor Society and an Academic All-League selection.

Personal: Son of James and Amy Heiman … two sisters, Paige and Rachel … a brother, Wyatt … siblings both competed at Washburn in track and field … his father played basketball at Cloud County Community College … majoring in finance.
