In 2013: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named the Ichabod work team offensive player of the week leading up to the Northwest Missouri game.
Background: As a sophomore he played football and basketball earning all-county, all-league and honorable mention all-state honors on the court … as a junior he was an all-league pick in football as well as all-county and honorable mention all-state … in basketball he was an all-league, all-county and a second team all-state selection … as a senior he was an honorable mention all-state selection earning all-league and all-county honors as the Wildcats won the 4A state championship.
Personal: Son of Lucy and Roger Burdiek … majoring in management.
