At Washburn: Will compete for the placekicking duties for the Ichabods this season.
In 2012: A member of the travel squad for all five road games … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2011: Appeared in two games during the season … had five kickoffs for 295 yards averaging 58.8 yards per kick against Lincoln and connected on his only point after attempt of the season against Central Oklahoma … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll
In 2010: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
Background: At Seaman High School, he connected on all 35 extra-point attempts while hitting 7 of 8 field goal attempts including a school-record 42-yard field goal … named first team all-city placekicker and honorable mention all-state … a member of the National Honor Society … received the special teams award three times and finished fourth in the city in kicking points as a juniorÂ
Personal: Son of Greg and Kathy Lutz … anticipated major is business … father played tennis at Washburn and mother played basketball at Washburn … his sister Jolene played soccer at Washburn and other sister Shelbie played basketball at Manhattan Christian as did Jolene after transferring.
