Biography
At Washburn: Will move full-time to offensive line after playing both sides of the line for parts of the last two season entering fall camp as the starting left guard.
In 2010: Started one game at defensive tackle playing all 12 recording 15 tackles with three tackles for loss and one pass breakup … recorded three tackles in a single game on four different occasions … also played on the offensive line.
In 2009: Played in six games as a sophomore recording nine total tackles with three solo stops and two pass break ups.
In 2008: Made five starts on the defensive line while playing in eight games … recorded 17 tackles with five solo stops and 12 assisted tackles … also had 2.5 tackles for loss.
In 2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named the work team defensive lineman of the week against Emporia State.
Background: A two-time all-league selection on both offense and defense … also a state qualifier in track in discus and shot put … an all-state pick as a defensive lineman as a junior … in track he was an all-state and all-Sunflower League … honorable mention all-state and all-league pick as a senior … played in the Kansas City Metro Classic.
