Background: As a senior he completed 175 of 277 passing attempts for 2,830 yards and 34 touchdowns while rushing for 750 yards on 128 attempts and six touchdowns en route to first team all-state honors as well as being named the Class 4 Offensive Player of the Year … as a junior he was 196 of 326 passing for 2,593 yards and 27 touchdowns and rushed for 535 yards on 153 attempts and eight touchdowns earning second team all-state honors.
Personal: Son of Tony and Donna Porter … anticipated major is psychology.
