Twydell Love, Jr., in his first season as a member of the Ichabod coaching staff. He played high school basketball at Raytown High School for HOF coach Mark Scanlon and was apart of the 27-1 2008 team graduating in 2009.
Love played his collegiate basketball at Graceland University and he graduated May of 2013 from Graceland University, with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education K-12 and minor in Health 7-12, Coaching K-12.Â
Twydell also has his Master degree in Sports Management with emphasis in Coaching Strategies and Theories and is also working towards his Athletic Administration certification.Â
For the past seven years, he has been an assistant coaching at the high school level in the Kansas City area for multiple schools, most notably Oak Park High School the past three years where he coached current Kansas Jayhawk, Ochai Agbaji.Â
In his tenure at Oak Park, he and Head Coach Brennan Scanlon had a record of 51-28, two conference titles sending eight student athletes to play sports in college.Â
Twydell also helps with the Team YOBO program under the direction of former Oklahoma State cowboy Victor Williams.Â
Twydell lives in Kansas City with his son Tyson.
