Washburn University Athletics

Jordan Banks is in his seventh season as a full-time assistant coach for the Washburn men’s basketball program and also led the Ichabod junior varsity program for six seasons.

Banks spent his first two season at Washburn as a volunteer assistant coach for the Ichabods. Overall with Banks on the coaching the staff, the Ichabods have been to the NCAA postseason four times in six seasons.

Banks played his freshman season at Kansas City Kansas Community College helping the team to a No. 4 national ranking. 

After his sophomore season at KCKCC, he was a walk on at Northern Arizona playing for one season before returning to the area.

He graduated in May 2017 with his Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Kansas majoring in general studies.
