Washburn University Athletics

Former Ichabod Joseph Smith is in his second season as a volunteer assistant on the Washburn bench. After wrapping up his career following the 2012-13 season, he would go on to play in Denmark and in Michigan in the American Basketball Association. 

While at Washburn Smith helps with the junior varsity program as well as breaking down film and game planning for the varsity basketball team.

He has been an assistant at Highland Park High School in Topeka coaching the junior varsity squad. 

He graduated with his degree in corporate communications from Washburn and will help with film, player development, scouting while assisting on the junior varsity bench as well.
