Background: As a sophomore he won the individual national championship during the cross country season as the first team All-American selection helped Cowley place eighth as a team and he was also the 3,000m steeplechase champion as a sophomore … he placed 11th as a freshman at the cross country championships  … a USTFCCCA NJCAA D2 National Runner of the Week twice and was a two-time All-American.

Personal: Son of Séverine and Nicolas … a sister, Emma … a brother, Elouan … majoring in kinesiology.
