In 2025-26: Appeared in seven events playing 20 rounds overall … tallied a 74.9 stroke average with two under par rounds … tied for 22nd in back to back matches at the Firekeeper Open and the MIAA Championships … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2024-25: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Background: A transfer from Fort Scott Community College where he had four top-10 finishes as a sophomore including a 17th-place finish at the league championships and 18th at the NJCAA Central District Tournament … at Santa Fe Trail he earned all-league as a senior helping team to second-place state finish … as a junior he finished ninth at the state tournament as team winning the state title.

Personal: Son of Jason and Laura Buessing … a brother, Brody … a sister, Braegan … majoring in business.
