Competed in five events … in 13 rounds of action rounds, posted an average of 77.15 strokes per round … at the Central Missouri Invitational, finished 43rd overall with a 225 through three rounds ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

As a sophomore in 2016-17
Competed in five events compiling a 78.62 stroke average over 13 rounds ... posted a career-best fourth-place finish at the Washburn Invitational. 

In 2015-16
Competed in three tournaments with a stroke average of 77.25 over eight rounds … finished tied for fourth at the Washburn Invitational, shooting a seven-over par 220 over three rounds ... was the stroke play medalist in qualifying for match play with a 5-under total of 138 at the Kansas Amateur Golf Championships, earning the No. 1 seed in match play as the only player to qualify with an under-par round.
 
Background
Won the 2015 Kansas Junior match play championship after reaching the semifinals the year before and qualified for the 2015 Kansas/Nebraska Junior Cup team … as a senior he was the 2A state champion after winning the regional championship title finishing second at the league tournament … as a junior he won the league championship and was the regional runner up … placed fifth at the Gary Woodland AJGA event … finished first in the stroke play at the Kansas Junior Amateur … as a sophomore he was the league and regional champion and finished eighth at the state tournament … as a freshman he was second at both the league and regional tournaments finishing sixth in the state tournament.
