Andrew Beckler returns to Washburn as a assistant coach for the rest of the 25-26 season after being a player here from 2018-21.  

 During his time on the Washburn golf team Andrew was a two-time All-MIAA selection, and was the 2020-21 Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year, as well as the MIAA Player of the Year, and a GCAA PING First Team All-American. 

Beckler, holds the lowest scoring average in a career with an average of 72.00 over 67 rounds. He has shot 64 twice while he was an Ichabod both coming in the 2020-21 season, which is the third lowest score in Ichabod Golf history. 

Andrew qualifed for the 2022 U.S. OPEN in Brookline, Mass. at The Country Club, where he shot a 71 in round 2. His caddie was Washburn Head Coach Ronnie McHenry. 

After graduating Andrew has achieved the following achievements:
2022 US Open
3 Korn Ferry Tour successful Monday Q’s starts. 
2024 2nd place APT season long  money list 
2024 Nebraska Open champion. 
2024: 68.4 tournament scoring average for the year. 
2025 2nd place finishes at the Nebraska and Iowa Open. Successfully
1st stage of Korn Ferry Tour and DP World Tour Q schools. 
2026 2nd place finish on Asher tour at Wigwam Red.
