Biography
As a freshman in 2017-18
Competed in eight events … over 23 rounds, shot an average of 75.43 strokes per round … had two top-20 finishes, including a tie for sixth place at the Central Missouri Invitational, shooting a 214 in three rounds … was named to the All-MIAA team.
Background: As a senior he tied for first at the state tournament finishing second after a three-way playoff … also was a member of the basketball team … as a junior he was the regional runner up and the league championship finishing 11th at the state tournament and won all nine individual tournaments … qualified for state as a freshman and sophomore taking second at the regional event … a Kansas Governor's Scholar and co-valedictorian.
Personal: Son of Lane and Shannon Massey … majoring in accounting.
