Was a four-year letterwinner qualifying for the state championship as a senior … placed ninth in the 4A regionals as a senior and recorded two other top 20 outtings as a senior … as a junior he placed seventh and 12th in two tournaments … finished sixth at the Longmont City Championships after his senior year and was a two-time Colorado state match play and stroke play qualifier … placed fourth in the junior championships following his junior high school season.
