Before Washburn: Was a four-year member of the golf team at Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) ... in the 2021-22 season, he helped the team reach the national championships and finished the year with several awards, including All-American, All-Region, All-MIAC, and was an Academic All-American ... as a junior, he earned a place on the All-MIAC and All-Region teams as well as being named an Academic All-American while the team was ranked in the top-10 in the country when the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic ... at the conclusion of his sophomore year, he was named to the All-MIAC team.
High School: Attended Blaine High School (Minnesota) where he competed in golf.
