Biography
Fall 2013: Competed in five of six tournaments recording a stroke average of 79.3 in 15 rounds … finished in a tie for 16th at the UCM Heart of America Invite with a 7-over 220.
Background: At Kirkwood Community College he won three tournaments as a sophomore including regionals … had a 75.2 stroke average … team was the region 11 champions finishing fourth at national tournament … as a freshman he was part of the team which won the region 11 championship and finished ninth at nationals … at Valley High School he was a four-time first team all-conference selection … was named first team all-state twice and second team all-state twice … won the conference tournament as a senior … team won conference and sectionals his junior and senior seasons.
Personal: Son of James and Donna Johnson … majoring in mass media.
