Vašek Schneider joins the Washburn Ichabod coaching staff as a graduate assistant for the men's team in 2025-26 after finishing his collegiate career in Topeka. Schneider spent one season with Washburn after beginning his career at William Woods.Â
In his one season with the Ichabods he was named an ITA All-American in singles while earning first team All-MIAA/GAC honors in both singles and doubles. He set a new program record with 32 singles victories going 32-7 while also going 29-7 in doubles play. Schneider helped Washburn reach the National Championship match for the first time in program history. He also earned academic honors at the MIAA and District level.Â
The Prague, Czech Republic native graduated from Washburn with a degree in business in 2025 and is working towards his MBA.Â
