Background: A transfer from South Dakota State where she sat out her freshman season as a redshirt … a three-year starter and letterwinner for Millard North High School … helped lead the Mustangs to two state Class A tournament appearances … a Nebraska Class A All-State Second Team selection as a junior after hitting .337 to go along with eight home runs, 22 RBIs and 28 runs scored on 33 total hits … chosen as an honorable mention all-state as a senior batting .337 with a .402 on base percentage  … recorded double-digit home runs during prep career along with over 20 extra-base hits, over 60 runs scored and nearly 50 RBIs in roughly 100 games played … also stole double-digit bases for the Mustangs … … recorded career-best on-base percentage of .402 as a sophomore … as a senior had best year in field with a .909 fielding percentage with 34 assists … played for Nebraska Gold club team during summer.
